After signing with Universal Music, the Romanian musician Freia will release her debut album in 2017. As a warm-up, Freia covers the 2016 hot song “Starboy”, which is also co-authored by Universal’s Reds, The Weeknd and Daft Punk.

Freia’s last single “Call My Name” was exclusively released in Greater China on September 8 last year, nearly half a year ahead of Universal Music’s global launch on February 17, 2017.

In addition, Freia has collaborated on the Kungson album “Layers”, the hot sensation in the UK, performing on the song “Bangalore Streets”, which was in the Top 10 in Germany and  Top 30 in the UK.

For Freia’s upcoming debut album, the “planet release” will work with Universal Music to help Freia in Greater China and around the world, adding more exposure and getting more copyright gains.
